Contemporarily, the gospel has been tagged with different meanings and definitions. There have been different kind of humanistic perspective to the gospel, and from divers human formulations, we can find the gospel of prosperity, the gospel of deliverance, the gospel of healing, the gospel of breakthrough, the gospel of 'you will make it in life', and so on. Many people define these activities as the gospel. Sadly, in the Christian world we have charlatans participating as wolves in sheep's clothing who are hiding behind these activities disseminating false gospel scripturally known as another gospel; the gospel which focuses on the satisfaction of the belly leaving the soul hungering for the word of God. The mission of the false gospel is to divert peoples' attention from the savior and pushes them to focus on material things. Surprisingly most people have embraced teachings from the false teachers and prophets. Indeed, and as Richard Edelman said, to be silent is sometimes to be complicit. And brother Paul said to Timothy we must have a reason to defend what we believe.
