I always walked around feeling a dark grey cloud looming over me as a reminder of the pain that I suppressed within. The saddest thing is that I had grown accustomed to living with past pain that I normalized. Somehow, I adapted to living my life that way. I guess it is also the reason why a twin flame encounter scares some people and they tend to run. It is because you feel imminent knowing that your life is about to change forever. Just thinking of all the changes — especially confronting your deepest pain in the darkest corners of your soul is scary, overwhelming, and disarming. From what I understand, healing is an integral part of any form of Spiritual Awakening. It is a process of reintegration. All the broken parts within come together — to feel whole. To feel naturally re-aligned spiritually, emotionally, psychologically, and physically. When you heal, you feel grounded in your authenticity. To feel connected to the Source of what is. This is when you realize that even though you have a physical twin flame, you had to first unite yourself within. The Twin Flame journey is the battle that you have within yourself. It is not about fighting to get back with your twin flame. Healing yourself begins with confronting all your pain that you know is undealt with. Your demons and fears. This is the beginning of the journey of inner union. You go through mountains and valleys within yourself to get to the point of inner harmony and balance. Once you get here, you know that if your reunion is meant to be, you feel unhurried because you trust the universe to be in control. You believe in your blessings.
