Loved it! Jessie Mihalik's narration is so easy to enjoy. The pace is sharp, the plot intriguing and thought out with attention to details, the characters skillfully set up and developed. Having met Ian and Bianca in Polaris Rising, and immediately being drawn to them, I enjoyed their adventures a lot more. And that also because they actively involved the previous cast of characters. Some pending questions find answer here, while others arise, main among them: where is Lady Hasemberg, and what does she do? What will Richard ask for? Will Ferdinand and E. will able to marry? And I'm eager to see what will happen to the Silvas! We know Catarina will be the narrator for Chaos Reigning, and, again, I would have liked to see more of her: she sounds very young, but I can't wait to read more of this very well built world. I'm also very curious about the other siblings: Ferdinand and Benedict in particular, since we had interesting glimpses of them. I hope they'll have a significant role in the final chapter of this enticing trilogy. Or that they'll lead their own (short/side) story! The only think annoying me a bit is the use of acronyms for the various destinations: I can't never remember the full name! But that's of no consequence, not really.
