Time is one of the first key few teachings one has to study sternly in the infancy of their Christianity. And this introductory thesis do plot you right in the way of the concerted studies of time like the principle of time (see time ethic (MTM/SWC 100) by same author). It does save one from rampant errors of the heretic like blind faith. Instead of wasting time professing one has to spend time building and marching on. So, their faith may be induced in works for to earn one a confession or statement of true faith. One should know that time is spent and though the Lord ignored our times of ignorance we shall be called to pay account regarding the use of our time here on earth. Romans 13:12 KJV The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Acts 17:30-31 KJV And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Bema Judgement is just set aside for that. To give rewards to the saints regarding how they spent their individual tempus here on earth. And Christ did advise the one who bid Him for supper to not do it for his friends but those who cannot reward him. So it will be a thing paying back in the due season of the judgment of the just; which us Bema Judgement. Meaning we should be deliberate not just about how we spend our resources here on earth but also to timeously do invest in the life to come. Luke 14:12-14 KJV Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee. But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. There are numerous parables of the Lord emphasizing on time. To keep it and to wait there in it by occupying. So that whenever He would come we would not be caught unawares. And a regular warning on keeping it and to keep reminding others to watch. For we do not know the hour nor the day. Matthew 25:13 KJV Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Mark 13:34-37 KJV For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Time until we see and measure it for what it is; we cannot comprehend nor see or tell its importance. But when we get to see it as the measure and value of one's life. It becomes the scarcest commodity on earth above diamonds and rubies, for every even elemental time times of infancy especially in the faith is so very important. Once we remember that we did not author our destinies but the purposes of God in us. We get to understand that every bit of it is vital to fulfill what we are purposed to do. Christ did highlight a thing very important to the disciples, that the purpose in us needs a certain amount of time and if we do not utilize time well. We might find out later that we failed not because we did not know but because we wasted time.
