Not realizing that she had disincarnated, Margaret enlists the help of Felix, a companion of hers from her past lives, to understand what happened. Through intricate and surprising ways, Margaret's story is intertwined with Clementina's and other characters. The fate of Marcos Wellington, the son abandoned by one and adopted by the other, is just beginning to be traced. He will find love, but he will face social and racial prejudice, as well as jealousy, envy and revenge.
